the rectangular lens hood from Viltrox is specially shaped for the sensor format in order to bring the best possible benefit. They are made Viltrox lens hoods from clean processed aluminum . The inside is provided with grooves to prevent the light from entering the lens even better.
Adjusting the shape also serves to avoid darkening in the corners of the photos. Furthermore are rectangular lens hoods also shorter and therefore even easier to stow away without dismantling it.
